20% Rule for passing an Exam
In order to pass a subject, it is very important that a student has a consistent mood in his studies. Therefore students need to get 20% marks in other items like assignments, midterm, GDB etc. and also at least 20% in final exam.
Desperately needed After having this qualification you will be able to pass any subject and then if you meet the criteria of 20% and get more than 40% marks overall then you will be considered to have passed in the final exam.
Otherwise, the subject will be considered as coffin which will have to be re-passed in the next session۔
In order to pass any one course you have to get 20% marks in all items like assignments, GDB, midterm etc. and also at least 20% marks in final exam.
Remaining marks = combination of all items such as assignments, GDB, mid exam etc.
Remaining Percentage = The percentage of all items such as assignments, GDB, Mid Exam, etc.
How are VU marks determined?
(Clarification: GPA and CGPA incorporates the quantity of credit hours at VU for a letter grade regardless of whether a grade of "F" was acquired). The total grade point normal (CGPA) will be determined based on the accompanying recipe: CGPA = Sum (Credit Hrs. for course X Grade Point got in the course)/Sum (credit Hrs.)
What are the passing grades in Vu?

اشد ضرورت اس قابلیت کے بعد آپ کسی بھی مضمون کو پاس کر سکیں گے اور پھر اگر آپ 20% کے معیار پر پورا اترتے ہیں اور مجموعی طور پر 40% سے زیادہ نمبر حاصل کرتے ہیں تو آپ کو فائنل امتحان میں کامیاب سمجھا جائے گا۔
بصورت دیگر اس موضوع کو تابوت تصور کیا جائے گا جسے اگلے اجلاس میں دوبارہ پاس کرنا ہوگا۔
کسی بھی ایک کورس کو پاس کرنے کے لیے آپ کو تمام آئٹمز جیسے اسائنمنٹس، GDB، مڈٹرم وغیرہ میں مجموعی طور پر 20% اور فائنل امتحان میں بھی کم از کم 20% نمبر حاصل کرنے ہوںگے۔
باقی نشانات = تمام تر اشیاء کا مجموعہ جیسے اسائنمنٹس، جی ڈی بی، مڈایگزام وغیرہ
باقی فیصد = تمام آئٹمز کے فیصد کا مجموعہ جیسے اسائنمنٹس، جی ڈی بی، مڈایگزام وغیرہ۔
